POLISHING SERVICE

The Polishing Service will give to your Dirce jewellery its original sparkle and shine; nevertheless, we recommend not to have this service carried out more than two times in the lifetime, due to the removal of a fine layer of metal involved in the procedure. Also, be reminded that polishing cannot remove scratches that are too deep.

RE-SIZING SERVICE

Resizing can be performed on a ring, bracelet, and necklace, increasing or reducing the size of the item as much as technicality will allow.

Certain items will not allow resizing due to their unique design structure. We suggest consulting us or an Authorized Retailer about resizing specifications for each model. Moreover, we recommend you to pay particular attention to the choice of the size; Dirce does not accept exchanges or refunds on any item(s) that have been sold.

Always be aware that during the polishing process involved after resizing, a fine layer of metal is removed. We recommend you do not have this service carried out more than once in the lifetime of a piece of jewellery made of white or yellow gold and platinum.

ENGRAVING SERVICE

The engraving service offers you the opportunity to personalize your Dirce wedding band by engraving either a name, phrase or date on your jewel. *Subject to technical constraints.

REPAIRS & RESTORATIONS

The “Emotion of a timeless jewel” was Dirce founder’s motto and it is what we still stand for today. As jewel lovers, we encourage a good maintenance of your jewelry that will allow you to pass on your items to the next generations. Us at Dirce and our Authorized Retailers will advise and assist you with any service your jewel requires.

Restoration requires highly specialized skills, most of which are extremely rare today. It is our declared objective to preserve the original condition of the jewel from the technical and aesthetic perspective. This also applies to original parts and legacy techniques that date back to the epoch when the jewel was crafted.

When the restoration process has been completed, the jewel must have preserved its original value and historic integrity and must function in the same manner as when it was manufactured. The decisive aspect is that restorers must be aware of the impact of their interventions with respect to the individual DNA of each jewel.

Given the complexity, the inherent rarity, and the skill set involved, the time required for a restoration project may vary.
